“ 31/05/25 A lovely birthday treat for our friend. The food was excellent, reasonably priced, and good portions. It was 12 noon when we were standing in the queue. The cafe was busy inside and outside. The staff worked well dealing with each order in turn. Ensuring that they cleaned down before moving on to the next customer. I had the hot chocolate, no trimmings, and a chip sandwich. The hot chocolate had a rich chocolate taste. I was impressed with the chip sandwich. The bread was fresh, soft, and buttered. The chips were golden brown and numerous. The tuna sandwich was over flowing, served with salad and crisps. The cheesecakes were morish. Lovely after a walk along the river bank and around the nature reserve. The staff were polite, friendly, and professional.. even though 98% of the tables were full, our food came quickly. Totally recommend this cafe and venue ”

“ Wonderful cafe, wonderful staff and the food is excellent. Good quality ingredients and huge portions! It's 5 stars all the way from me and I will happily and readily return. The only negative I could say which is through no fault of their own is the decking. The outdoor seating area overlooking the pond has been shut now for far too long. Its overgrown and dilapidated so its about time the council had it repaired and got it up and running again. Keep up the good work Humber Hideaway and we'll see you again soon but next time I'm ordering a small breakfast ”

“ Nothing to fault. Lovely pitstop in a fabulous spot. We had some well filled breakfast sandwiches, served on fresh and warm, toasty ciabattas. Bacon was nice and even cooked nicely to my "super well done" request. Lovely latte with quality coffee. Really enjoyed the little walk around the outside, along the Humber. I came with the doggo too and could sit both inside or outside with him. Always a huge bonus for me. Friendly and welcoming, nice food and super clean. Left with two super naughty mini cheesecakes too.. be rude not to.. and if nothing else.. will be back for those alone! ”
